How to setup a self hosted blog

Ok I'm gonna be giving all this a go this weekend.….

I've decided blogger is a bit basic for my needs and its time to move on! I have my custom domain setup (which just means my own website with a unique name) and I'm ready to take the plunge and setup a blog the "proper" full on way!

Will let you know how I get on!
